- Prior to Booking: Please discuss your pet's stay with us directly before booking.
- Acceptable Pets: We welcome well-behaved pets. However, we may require the immediate removal of any pet displaying dangerous or unacceptable behavior, such as snapping/biting, excessive barking, signs of disease, or urinating/defecating in public areas.
- Vaccinations and Registrations: Pets must have up-to-date vaccinations and display their registration tag. You agree to provide current vaccination records from a licensed veterinarian upon request.
- Leashes and Supervision: Pets must be leashed or restrained and supervised at all times on motel property.
- Housekeeping: Please inform housekeeping if a pet is in the room. If you would like the room serviced, please remove the pet before housekeeping enters.
- Pet-Friendly Areas: Pets can be walked across the street at the park along the river.
- Waste Clean-Up: Guests are responsible for cleaning up pet waste inside the motel grounds.
- Damage Assessment: Guests are responsible for any personal injuries or property damage caused by their pet(s). Any damages found after departure will be charged to the guest's account.
- Removal: The motel reserves the right to remove guests whose pets are deemed noisy or disruptive.
- Release and Indemnification: You agree to release, defend, and indemnify The Tarawera River Lodge-Motel, and the owners from any claims or damages related to your pet or your pet's stay at the motel, including claims by third parties.
